Flying Anvil Design - Synergy Between Photography & Computing
Written by Web Master
Tuesday, 06 February 2007

Thank you in advance for stopping in and seeing what Flying Anvil Design is all about.  if you had stopped by the previous site then you definitely saw something different from what you see now.  The site has added a more professional look, the ability to become a registered user, a variety of backend things (a backend SQL database helps to store all of the Portfolio items), security, and many other things.

Flying Anvil Design handles web design, graphics & art, product reviews, and talks about photography stuff.  The new site gives the power to show you what can be done and also how ideas can be communicated on the  web or through your intranet site.  As you look over the site there is  other information from high tech articles (computer stuff, gadgets), to new products, and some of the latest art work, graphics, photos, and other things related to the arts.  Please enjoy the site and maybe you will be enticed enough for us to do some work for you.

This whole front page is a living page from the sense that periodically there are changes to the information presented here.  One of the more recent changes to the site is the Portfolio section.  This section now has been updated with smaller graphics and watermarked graphics.  The other part enhanced is the Calender section with a more robust calendering module.  Please cruise through the entire site and feel free to add things in those areas you have access to, however realize you will need to register to append to things on the site.  Enjoy!

If at anytime you see data or content on the site that you see is wrong or out of place, or you just want to give feedback on, please feel free to register and provide your feedback.  A couple of ways to give feedback is through the forum or through the email.  Both methods require that you register, and just as a reminder please read through the "Privacy Policy" when registering also.

Music - Lane 5 @ Marilyn's
Written by Administrator
Tuesday, 06 February 2007
So this past Saturday Lane 5 appeared at Marilyn's on K Street in Sacramento.  I wasn't able to attend the show, but if it is anything like any of the shows that I have been to before it was probably a very kick ass show.  There will be an update to this new flash once I speak to David Barnett the lead singer for the band and get a more updated review of the show.

If you check the Links section you will see a link to the Crocker Musem.  Currently there is an exhibition from Ansel Adms.  If you are into B&W and outdoor scenary, then this would be the show to see.  Please check the times for the Crocker through the link that is provided.  I believe there is free admission on Sundays before 1:00pm.  You will want to confim that, but free is a pretty good price.
